Financial Education

The financial education program is under the umbrella of NMAFC's "Problem Gambling Prevention" project. Our goal is to provide soft approaches to our AAPI community with financial education and related financial management. Life should not be a gamble!

Civic Engagement

NMAFC's Civic Engagement covers voter registration, GTOV (Get out the Vote), the 2020 Census, and other related items.

Multi-generation Family Activities

Multi-generation family issues focus on improving the interactions, understanding and support among our AAPI communities and their families. Family activities, Movie night, workshops, home visitations, and many more.

Youth Intern

Each year NMAFC will work with our future AAPI leaders on different issues. This year, NMAFC's 2020 summer Interns---Moira, Kenji, Alishba and Hujatulla outreached to communities virtually and produced videos about their life, challenges and success as AAPI members.

Family Program

Understanding every family can thrive with support, resources, and a caring community, our goal is to improve conditions for all Asian and Pacific Islander children, youth, and families within Bernalillo county through impacting systems such as government, education, and home visitation.

Tea Talks is a monthly gathering for women, gender non-conforming and non-binary folks in the Asian Pacific Islander communities.

Our programs are built to uplift multi-generational family narratives and impact change for the entire community.
