Resting Circle is a weekly gathering for Asian Pacific Islander womxn of all ages that provides a safe space to rest from violence. The focus of Resting Circle is on repairing the connection between mind and body and decolonizing yoga and meditation practices, as well as providing a space for rest. Our group practices breath work, grounding, meditation, and restorative yoga, followed by a discussion. This program is free and open to API womxn. We hold our Resting Circles on Tuesdays from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
11:45 - Begin with Mindfulness of Breath, Pranayama, or meditation
Noon - Check in 12:10 or 12:15 - Gentle Movement on chair, standing or on mat that helps to prepare for the yoga pose 12:30 or 12:35 - One strong pose yoga 12:40 or 12:45 - Check in; mindfulness close 12:50 Resting pose
