Esther Hoang

Originally from Kansas, Esther is a Public Health student studying at New Mexico State University and anticipating on graduating with her Master degree in Fall 2012. She is Chinese and speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin dialects, but feels that her Chinese is getting worse since she has not had the opportunity to speak the language as frequently after moving to New Mexico. Because of her passion of wanting to work with Asians, her experience at NMAFC has helped open doors and opportunities for her to grow and learn more about the challenges that Asians and Pacific Islanders face while living in the United States. Esther LOVES to eat and can’t say no to sweets.
